Yes, within your starter credits: planning and code export are always free, and new accounts include credits for real renders. After that, Starter and Pro add monthly render credits.
What exactly costs credits?
Only cloud renders. A standard render currently costs 20 credits; failed or canceled renders are refunded automatically.
What happens when my credits run out?
Nothing breaks: you can keep planning scenes and exporting Manim code for free, and upgrade to Starter or Pro when you need more renders.
